You will guide clients through one of the biggest decisions of their lives. This means assessing affordability, recommending suitable lenders and managing applications from start to finish. You will uphold all Central Bank of Ireland requirements and deliver a service that leaves clients feeling informed, reassured and supported.
Client Advisory & Sales
• Carry out full fact-finds to understand clients’ needs, goals and financial circumstances
• Recommend suitable mortgage products and lenders
• Manage and organise a busy client pipeline
• Explain mortgage terms, rates, protection products and repayment structures clearly
• Meet and contribute to team performance targets
Application Management
• Prepare and submit accurate mortgage applications
• Liaise with lenders, solicitors, underwriters and other third parties
• Track progress, troubleshoot issues and keep applications moving
• Keep clients updated at every stage so they always know where they stand
Compliance & Regulation
• Maintain full compliance with CBOI Guidelines, the Consumer Protection Code and the Minimum Competency Code
• Keep detailed records and follow internal processes
• Stay up to date on lender criteria, market changes and regulatory updates
Relationship Management
• Build strong, lasting client relationships that naturally drive repeat and referral business
• Represent Mortgage Navigators professionally at client meetings and events
Essential
• QFA qualification
• Minimum 2–3 years in mortgage advisory, lending or financial services
• Strong understanding of the Irish mortgage market and lender criteria
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• High attention to detail with strong organisation
• Proven track record in sales and customer service
• Ability to learn new systems quickly
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a high client volume
Desirable
• Experience in a broker or banking environment
• Knowledge of life cover, mortgage protection and income protection
• Familiarity with CRM systems and digital submission platforms
