Margaret Barrett serves as the Managing Director of Mortgage Navigators, Margaret a graduate with a Bachelor of Business Studies and Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA) has a background that includes her previous role as a Mortgage Manager at Bank of Ireland along with other Senior Business and Sales Leadership roles.
In her current role at Mortgage Navigators, Margaret leads a dedicated team responsible for identifying the most suitable borrowing solutions for clients, whether they are first-time homebuyers, individuals looking to move, those interested in switching, investors in search of property, or clients in pursuit of their dream seaside holiday home. The team is committed to assisting clients in their journey towards homeownership ensuring that their requirements are matched with the best lender on the market, in a stress free and jargon free manner.
Karen is a Qualified Financial Advisor with over 24 years Banking experience with the main Irish Banks of AIB & PTSB. She joins the team with a wealth of experience dealing with Personal Finances, Mortgages and also well experienced with Self Employed and Company client finances.
She is dedicated to offering a high level of personalised Customer Service to her customers guiding them informatively and with ease through the Mortgage process from start of the Application to closing of the Property Sale. She is able to offer this specialised service to First Time Buyers, Movers, Self Builds and Investors given her experience in the Underwriting and Legal Process and extensive knowledge of the Banks Mortgage processes and Lending Polices.
She has a proven track record over the years in supporting her many customers in a hassle-free Mortgage Journey to ensure they are successful in getting the Keys of the new Homes in a timely manner.
Ciara Fogarty, a Mortgage Administrator at Mortgage Navigators, brings valuable experience from her role as Operations Leader in Bank of Ireland’s branches across Cork City. With a Bachelors Degree in Sociology and Psychology from UCC, Ciara is committed to delivering apersonalised customer service. Her dedication is evident in guiding customers seamlessly through the mortgage process, from application initiation to property sale closure. Ciara has a proven track record of providing a hassle-free mortgage journey and has successfully supported numerous customers over the years.
Nicole is a UCC graduate and qualified Dental Nurse who spent 7 years building a career in the dental industry before making the move to mortgages. Now part of the Mortgage Navigators team, she brings the same attention to detail, organisation, and client care to her role as Case Manager. Nicole is currently studying for her QFA qualification as she builds a long-term career in financial services. She supports clients through every stage of the mortgage process—keeping things on track, answering questions, and making sure no detail is overlooked.
Leah is a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA) and experienced Mortgage Consultant with a strong background in the Irish financial services sector. Here in Mortgage Navigators, Leah specialises in guiding clients through the home financing process, offering clear, tailored advice to help individuals and families make confident property decisions.
Prior to her current role, Leah gained valuable experience at Bank of Ireland, where she developed in-depth knowledge of lending practices, customer service, and financial planning. Her time there strengthened her ability to assess client needs, navigate complex mortgage applications, and deliver practical solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Leah is known for her approachable manner, attention to detail, and commitment to achieving the best outcomes for her clients. Whether working with first-time buyers, movers, or those looking to refinance, she brings professionalism, expertise, and a client-first mindset to every interaction.
Meadhbh Furlong is a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA) and Mortgage Consultant with Mortgage Navigators, where she supports clients at every stage of the mortgage journey, offering clear, practical guidance tailored to their individual needs. She holds both a BA and a Master’s degree in Criminology from University College Cork and completed her QFA qualification through the Institute of Banking (IOB).
Before moving into mortgage advisory, Meadhbh gained over three years’ experience as a Case Manager with AIB, developing strong expertise in banking operations, customer service, and case handling. She also worked as a Risk Investigator with Remitly, where she monitored transactions to detect and prevent fraud, carried out enhanced due diligence, and ensured compliance with regulatory requirements. Her combined experience allows her to bring a thorough, detail-oriented, and client-focused approach to her work.
Fionn O’Callaghan is a Bachelor of Commerce student at University College Cork (UCC), with a strong interest in marketing, property and financial services.
Working with Mortgage Navigators, Fionn focuses on marketing, brand development and creating engaging content that helps make the mortgage process easier to understand. He brings experience across property, digital marketing and brand development, with a particular focus on building strong brands and connecting with audiences online.
Alongside his studies, Fionn works closely with the Mortgage Navigators team to develop their digital presence and communicate their expertise in a clear, approachable way.
